Ingredients It Favours:

  • Soya beans
  • water
  • sugar
  • vanilla extract.

Steps:

  1. Pick out stones and dirt from the soya beans
  2. Wash the beans thoroughly
  3. Soak the beans for about 5 hours or until soft and doubled in size
  4. Wash the soaked beans again
  5. Transfer the beans to a blender, add water, and blend until smooth
  6. Pour the blended mixture into a cheesecloth and squeeze out all the milk
  7. Heat the extracted milk for about 40 minutes or until it begins to boil
  8. Stir regularly and remove the foam while heating
  9. After boiling, take it off the heat and scoop off the thin layer formed on top
  10. Add sugar to taste and a bit of vanilla extract
  11. Strain the milk again for a smooth texture
  12. Allow it to cool before refrigerating and serving
